 About Us

We, the members of the team, are quite strong and different characters, each of us witty and stubborn and determined when it comes to our opinions. Taken one by one, we might seem rather opposing natures, but as a whole we've managed to build a strong team, our determination adding to the team's success in its enterprises.

The youngest member of our team is Nona(16). Her activities in projects such as “MUNGA” explain her interest in the problems of our society, especially when it comes to its youth. She has decided to work on the history of human rights in Romania , visiting various NGO-s and talking to several people more or less connected to the topic, in order to find the neccesarry documentation.

Next in line is Oana(17), a thoroughly self-aware and disciplined young lady who will go at any lenghts to prove her point, especially when she knows she's right (and the funny thing is that she most of the times is!). Her passion for history goes back to her childhood, the passion for justice and freedom in all its forms being addes to the former as she grew up. Therefore, her choice was to write about the history of human rights and the main events which shaped the notion we have today about them.

Smaranda(17), the astutte member of our team, is also active in the “MUNGA” projects and she is brilliant in her interpretations of the modern dilemmas concerning human rights and the world issues in general. She resents injustice and the slow pace of moving thing in our society and it is no wonder she has chosen the chapter regarding “Global Issues” as a form of protest.

Dante, the pragmatic and practical 17-year-old with a taste for any kind of schemes and sketches, was the first to decide on his part of the work: he would do the survey and conceive its graphics. The area of “Activities” was generally his domain, for he is the most calculated and carefully planning people we know.

Dorian (17), is definitely our “wizz-kid”. He did most of the work with the site, spending all his spare time into the search for possible technical solutions to the problems that occurred. He has been constantly improving on the site, in fact as you will be reading this he will probably be finding some new idea to improve the aspect of our project.

This is in short our team. The fact that we are all so different has only helped us take different attitudes towards our topic and the issues that occurred and has helped us overcome any difficulties. We have come to realise that we are complimentary and that diversity often works best.
